What's new for 2024?

What's new for 2024? 

• We've added more money and have buckles for first place! In 2023, we had 336 entries and had over $82,000 awarded in payouts and prizes. Fun Fact - did you know we are one of the very few associations who still offer top notch prizes for 1st and 2nd place?
•  We have a new cattle supplier! Great news! We have a new local cattle supplier this year!  
•  We added the Non Pro Boxing Spectacular! We heard you last year and we listened. We adjusted the schedule a bit to make room for this class. Make sure you get entered because we have an amazing award for this class. 
•  We added 13 and under Youth Boxing Class! And it has an awesome buckle to go with it, so enter those kiddos.  
•  We merged the boxing classes!  Our show is in the middle of summer... outside... in 100+ degree weather.  We feel we need to be looking out for our competitors and their unicorns. This year we will have all the Non Pro Boxing classes show concurrently (LAE not included). What does this mean? It means that while at other shows you normally would show your horse more than once, you will not be able to at ours this year. 
• We have a saddle for the Non Pro Bridle Spectacular! We are stoked to welcome back AgWest Farm Credit to sponsor this class this year!
• We have a complete bridle set for the winners of the Open Bridle and Non Pro Boxing Spectacular classes this year! Yep! You read that right, complete set! The reins, the bit, and the amazing championship headstall could all be yours. 
• Short Stirrup class is back! Who didn't enjoy watching the kids show their horses last year?  This spectator favorite class has some super special awards for all kids 10 & younger who enter. 
• We will have a catered taco bar dinner Saturday night with a live blue grass band, featuring Heather Tiel-Nelson, in the RV parking area. This will be hosted by MVRCHA. Donations are accepted. 
• More fun Saturday night! What goes great with dinner? How about a large water slide and axe throwing!? This adult size water slide will be set up in the RV area and, returning again, Twin Blades Axe Throwing. This was made possible by 2 Lazy T's Ranch & Equine Rehab and Rockin' Horse Photography.
